John Hale Shenefield began as a student at Beauvoir and St. Albans, and a member of the Cathedral Choir under the direction of Paul Callaway and Wayne Dirksen. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School. Mr. Shenefield was chairman of the St. Albans School Governing Board and member of the Cathedral Chapter and the Cathedral Program Development Steering Committee.
Shenefield has been managing partner of the Washington office of the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, where he serves as the chairman of antitrust and trade regulation. He has also been chairman of the ABA Committee on Law and National Security. His previous legal experience included serving as Assistant Attorney Genera (Antitrust Division) in the United States Department of Justice, and Associate Attorney General of the United States.
Shenefield lives in Great Falls, VA and recently served as Chairman of the Virginia Racing Commission.
