Dina Helderman joined Washington National Cathedral in May 2022. She leads the teams that support events at the Cathedral, including worship services, concerts, forums, partner events and event rentals.

Helderman is directly responsible for the event logistics team which includes the Cathedral’s master calendar, event rentals, audio and video engineer teams, and the housekeeping/sexton’s department. As a member of the Cathedral’s senior management team, Helderman provides expertise on building infrastructure, processes, and healthy communication and collaboration across teams.

Helderman also works as a consultant for Saison Consulting, LLC, in Durham, N.C. Prior to this work, Helderman spent 13 years at Duke Divinity School as the department head for the Events Management department and working as Chief of Staff for Leadership Education. She received her Master of Divinity from McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University in Atlanta, Ga.
