Dory Clark grew up in Richmond, Va., and graduated from St. Catherine’s School. She received a B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Richmond.

A former attorney for Jackson Kelly PLLC, Dory is an active volunteer in her children’s schools and in support of underprivileged children in the Washington, D.C. community. Dory serves on the Governing Board of the Bishop John T. Walker School for Boys, and co-chaired the school’s Annual Dinner in the Cathedral for many years. She is the Vice Chair on the Board of Trustees of the Connelly School of the Holy Child, where she previously chaired the Annual Fund. Dory is a member of the Development Committee of the UNC Arts & Sciences Foundation Board of Directors.

She previously served as the Development Chair on the Board of the Washington Winter Show, the second-oldest charitable antique show in the country. She has also served on the board of Beauvoir, the National Cathedral Elementary School, and as president of the Beauvoir Parents’ Association, and the Hearing and Speech Center Board of Children’s National Health System.

Dory and her husband Chad have two children: a daughter at the University of Virginia, and a son at St. Albans School, where Dory is the current Form Chair of the Annual Fund. She has served as a grade representative on the Parents’ Association, and as a fundraising chair for the Bulldog Bash.
