Nick Cieslinski

Nick’s interest in the Cathedral began years ago on multiple family vacations to the nation’s capital. Eventually moving to DC for work, Nick joined the congregation in 2014 and became involved in Cathedral life after attending a few of the signature 20s and 30s Evensong & Evensocial events. Nick is now an active participant in the 20s&30s group, including coordinating monthly Ultimate Sunday Brunches, and has become a Lector and Lay Eucharistic Minister at the Cathedral. The awesome and unique space, sweeping and powerful music, and thought provoking sermons keep him coming back to the Cathedral every Sunday.

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Nick graduated from McGill University in Montreal with a BA in International Development, and went on to obtain an MA in African Politics at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. Nick currently works as a Program Associate at Winrock International, an international NGO, where he manages projects focused on promotion of Human Empowerment and Civic Engagement in the developing world. He enjoys travel and practicing his French and Portuguese as often as possible. Growing up down the shore in New Jersey, Nick also loves to sail or be on the water wherever and whenever he can.
