Andrew Hullinger joined the Cathedral staff as senior director for finance and administration in 2007. He directed all Cathedral business and administrative operations, providing leadership in finance, strategic planning, archives, gift processing, event management, visitor services, retail, preservation, and housekeeping. He served as principal liaison between the Cathedral and Foundation staff for matters of audit, treasury, human resources, information systems, security and risk management, community relations, facilities management, and grounds.
Prior to coming to the Cathedral, Hullinger served for 16 years in financial management positions for Children’s National Medical Center here in Washington, including 12 years as director of financial planning and decision support. Hullinger also worked as a management engineer at Georgetown University Hospital. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
A member of St. Columba’s Episcopal Church in the diocese of Washington, he has served multiple terms on the vestry there and is a past chair of its finance committee.
