Efforts towards a pathway to citizenship stalled in 2021 dashing hopes and promises following the presidential inauguration. Alan Yarborough, Church Relations Officer in the Office of Government Relations, will present the challenges and opportunities ahead for immigration advocacy from the perspective of the Office of the Presiding Bishop. Fr. Vidal Rivas, Senior Priest of San Matthew’s parish in Hyattsville, Maryland, will share his perspective as a local and national faith leader and immigrant advocate.
