Choral Evensong in Thanksgiving for the Altar Guild

All are welcome to join this service of Choral Evensong in thanksgiving for the gifts and dedication of the Cathedral Altar Guild and in recognition of Canon Linda Roecklein, Head of the Flower Guild & Altar Guild.

Choral Evensong is offered most Monday—Thursday evenings. For future occurrences, please confirm on the Cathedral’s calendar.

One of the treasures of the Anglican tradition, evensong is a service of sung evening prayer. The interspersing of music spanning from the Renaissance to the modern day, between familiar passages of scripture and ancient prayers, creates a contemplative mood. Lasting less than an hour, this service is a wonderful way to end the day. This special service will also be livestreamed below and on our YouTube channel.
