Holy Week begins as we commemorate the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and move to the story of his utter rejection and crucifixion outside the city gates. This service begins outside at the North Porch and processes into the nave. Incense is used at this service.
Commemorate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday with the dramatic retelling of the life of the prophet Elijah and the epic return of the Jewish people to Israel, brought to new life by the Washington National Cathedral Choir and Baroque Orchestra.
Holy Eucharist and Blessing of Chrism

The clergy and laity of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington gather to reaffirm their vows and observe the consecration of sacramental oil. All are welcome to attend this service of Holy Eucharist.

Easter Choral Evensong

Our Easter Day worship concludes with Choral Evensong. This traditional Anglican service of sung evening prayer includes readings from Holy Scripture, choir-led psalms, hymns, anthems and canticles.
