Grief Support Group Series

Offered in thanksgiving for the life of the Reverend Carla Thompson

The Cathedral Congregation is partnering with Capital Caring Health to offer four sessions of grief education and support for the bereaved beginning October 31. Participants will learn about common grief symptoms, theories to help one understand the process, and healthy ways of coping.

This in-person series meets Thursdays at 4 pm in the Cathedral Library Boardroom on Oct. 31, Nov.7, Nov. 14, and Nov. 21. The final session, entitled “Coping with Grief During the Holidays,” will help participants prepare for the holiday season and will include a remembrance ceremony. Free parking on South Road.
