Cathedral to Hold Interfaith Service for 250th Anniversary of the United States
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Washington National Cathedral is proud to announce a special service, We Hold These Truths to be Self-Evident, celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States. The event is part of the Cathedral’s A Better Way initiative, and is in partnership with the Courage Project, the MacArthur Foundation, the McKnight Foundation, and the Freedom Together Foundation.
This interfaith service will feature readings, prayers, music and remarks from Canon Historian Jon Meacham and the Very Reverend Randolph Marshall Hollerith. More information will follow as additional speakers and musicians are confirmed. For updates on the service, please refer to the event page.
