Good Friday: Good Friday opens the door not only to the fullness of being human; Good Friday also opens the door to a new possibility of community and compassion with each other and the world.
Maundy Thursday: Jesus taught and modeled what that looked like to be a follower of Christ. Jesus continues to teach and model what it means to be a follower of Christ.
Lent V: We human beings are a mess. And yet we witness moments of human depth and compassion that show us what we might be on our way, with God’s help, to becoming.
Lent IV: We’re halfway to Jerusalem. I invite you at this midpoint to consider dropping some of that baggage you brought into the wilderness with you. Travel light, go dark to better find the Light in your life.
Lent III: Sometimes, we get caught up in the power of the world’s problems and forget the power of God. In times like these, we need to remember more than God’s work in nature.
Lent I: Much like you can’t race through Advent and fully experience Christmas, I bid you this day to enter this season reflecting, repenting, going deeper with God.
Epiphany VI: Faithful imagination has little to do with our cleverness and everything to do with the generosity of God; who gives us eyes to see and hearts to sense and wills to live by faith.
