Lent II

Lent I: Life’s deserts are never easy, they are never where we want to be. But they come to us all and they can be times of rich growth and insight. They can be the times when we encounter God’s love and presence most profoundly in our lives.

Ash Wednesday 7 pm

Ash Wednesday Noon: So I look forward to a planned burn in this season of Lent to clear away that which needs to die in order to open up my heart, my life, my spirit, to that which awaits on the other side of the cross.

The Last Sunday after the Epiphany

Epiphany VII: It doesn't have to be grand. It starts one person at a time with whatever God has put on your heart.

Epiphany V: I need to be reminded that it is not enough to be right, I must also be loving. I need to be reminded that it is not enough to stand for something if in doing so my stand causes me to devalue someone else.
