Wayne Oratorio Society Concert

Saturday, October 26, 2019 | 7:30pm

The Wayne Oratorio Society presents Felix Mendeelssohn's Elijah.

The Wayne Oratorio Society has performed over 280 major choral works since 1951. Singers gather to rehearse Tuesday evenings from September to April. Sacred choral masterworks are fully realized in performance with the accompanying addition of skilled soloists and instrumentalists. 249 singers from the church and community sang last season. Since its reorganization in 1992, the choir has prepared 87 programs, a total of 110 major choral works in 157 evening concerts.

Admission is free for all concerts. A free-will offering is received. The ministry of the Wayne Oratorio Society is made possible in part through the generosity of The Friends of the Wayne Oratorio Society.
