For many of us, the experience of God is felt most acutely when we’re outdoors, whether it be watching a sunset or walking through a park with the miracle of nature surrounding us. Join us for an evening reflecting on the deepening oneness that being in nature offers us. We turn to nature to inform us how to live both spiritually and practically in this time of climate instability. You are invited to bring a journal. Part of our time together will be spent walking in silence in the Bishop’s Garden, so you may want to wear comfortable walking shoes.
Rev. Sarah Anders is a UCC pastor and the Spiritual Leader for Church of the Wild, MD DC VA, a community that meets outdoors twice a month to honor the mutual indwelling of the Divine in nature. She can be reached through the Center for Spirituality in Nature at [email protected].
