Join the Cathedral's LGBTQIA Alliance and Barbara Lau, Director of the Pauli Murray Project at Duke University, to learn about the life of Saint Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray. Pauli was an early and committed civil rights activist and the first African American woman to be ordained a priest in The Episcopal Church. Her goal in life was an integrated body, mind and spirit. What can we learn from Pauli that will help us bring our whole selves to the challenges we face today? Barbara will explore Pauli's strategies — spiritual resiliency, evolving purpose, a commitment to justice and a capacity for hope — and then break-out into small groups to discuss how Pauli's life can help us bring our whole selves to the challenges we face today.
Register via Zoom. You will receive a confirmation email containing instructions on how to join the meeting and resources to prepare you for discussion.
