Sanctuary Ministry: Neighbor to Neighbor Learning Event

Tuesday, June 15, 2021 | 7:00pm

Washington National Cathedral Sanctuary Ministry invites you to learn about a communally supported way our ministries and congregations can accompany newly arrived asylum seekers in the Washington, D.C. area. Neighbor to Neighbor is a radical welcoming project of Episcopal Migration Ministries and the Washington National Cathedral Sanctuary Ministry.

Neighbor to Neighbor is a new Episcopal network designed to connect asylum seekers with congregations in local communities across the United States. Launched by Episcopal Migration Ministries, it provides a way for Episcopalians to accompany and/or sponsor local asylum seekers, and is committed to offering congregational groups training and support as their relationships with these newest neighbors develop and grow.

To learn more, please come to our Neighbor to Neighbor learning event on Tuesday evening, June 15. Registration required.
