Sacred Stories: Light and Color

Monday, January 17, 2022 | 10:30am

Jewels in January! Experience the “jewels” of the Cathedral by joining one or all of our stained glass tours in one extraordinary month.

Marvel at stained glass windows and explore stories of faith and inspiration from the Bible and from American history, told through the majestic medium of stained glass. Learn how stained-glass windows are created and how this ancient art is just as relevant today, telling stories in living light and color in America’s “Church for National Purposes,” as it was in Medieval times.

The Cathedral currently requires everyone over the age of 2 to wear a properly fitted mask at all times while on the grounds or inside the building. Visitors who refuse to wear masks will be asked to leave.
