About Jordan Prescott

Jordan W. Prescott is a star on the rise as a concert organist, church musician, and director. A native of North Carolina, Jordan received the Bachelor of Music in Organ and Sacred Music from East Carolina University where he was named the university’s most outstanding graduate in keyboard. Jordan is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Organ at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University where he holds the Milton H. Miller, Sr. Endowed Scholarship in Organ and was awarded the James Winship Lewis Memorial Prize in Organ and Church Music. Jordan is the former of Organ Scholar of Duke University Chapel and now holds a similar position at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Baltimore. His primary teachers have been John Walker, Andrew Scanlon, and Christopher Jacobson. Jordan made his orchestral debut in 2018 with Maestro Marin Alsop performing Bernstein’s monumental MASS. An active recitalist, he has recently appeared at Trinity Church in Boston, the West Point Military Academy Cadet Chapel, and National City Christian Church.
