About Jackson Borges

Jackson Borges has concertized extensively in important venues both at home and abroad, such as Trinity Church (Boston), Fourth Presbyterian Church (Chicago), Princeton University and the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart (New Jersey), Grace Cathedral (San Francisco), Longwood Gardens (Pennsylvania), and Khandallah Presbyterian Church (Wellington, New Zealand). As a vocalist, he has performed in venues such as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. He presently serves as Organist and Parish Director of Music for All Saints’ Church & St. George’s Chapel in Rehoboth Beach and Harbeson, Delaware. Jackson holds the Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Organ Performance from San Diego State University and Westminster Choir College, respectively. His major teachers have included Robert Plimpton, Alan Morrison, and the late Tom Hazleton, and he has studied improvisation with Bruce Neswick and Stephen Tharp. Jackson has also participated in private coaching sessions and masterclasses with Todd Wilson (Cleveland Institute of Music), John Ferguson (St. Olaf College), and Pierre Pincemaille (Basilique Saint-Denis, Paris, FR).
