About Collin Boothby

Collin Boothby, organist and choral conductor, currently resides in Houston, TX and serves as the organist/choirmaster at Trinity Episcopal Church in Midtown Houston. In addition, he is the organist/choirmaster at Congregation Beth Israel in Houston where he directs a professional choir for High Holy Day services. He has performed concerts across the United States. In both June of 2018 and 2019 in he studied and performed on historic instruments in Leipzig, Germany. In May 2019 he earned a Master of Music Degree in Organ Performance from Rice University where he studied with Professor Ken Cowan. Collin graduated summa cum laude from Texas Christian University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Church Music. In competitions, Collin has garnered several prizes, including at the 2014 and 2019 William C. Hall Organ Competitions and the 2016 Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival. In addition to music, Collin enjoys running, kayaking, and sailing. For more information, visit his website:
