Join us for the celebration of Holy Eucharist on the Second Sunday of Easter. We will listen to a recording of Dr. King’s final Sunday sermon. Titled Remaining Awake Through a Great Revolution, this sermon was preached on March 31, 1968 at the Cathedral. The Rev. Canon Kelly Brown Douglas presides.
This service of Holy Eucharist is celebrated with readings from Scripture, prayers, a short sermon and the sharing of Holy Communion, using contemporary language and incorporating music from a variety of traditions. All are welcome.
