Film Discussion: For They Know Not What They Do

Join the Cathedral Congregation LGBTQIA Alliance for a film discussion of For They Know Not What They Do with Bishop Gene Robinson, The Rev. Canon Rose Duncan, and Charlotte Clymer. For They Know Not What They Do, directed by Daniel Karslake, focuses on four families as they balance religion and sexuality on their journey toward acceptance. The film premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival and will be released nationwide on June 12. Bishop Gene Robinson served as the ninth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire and the first openly gay bishop in the Anglican Communion. The Rev. Canon Rose Duncan is the Canon Worship at Washington National Cathedral. Charlotte Clymer is the Press Secretary, Rapid Response at the Human Rights Campaign.

Those who register will for the event will receive a link to local movie theaters screening the film digitally. 50% of the ticket price will be given directly back to the theater, supporting them during this difficult time. For any questions about the program please email LGBTQIA@cathedral.org.
