Cathedral Day and Congregation Potluck Picnic

Sunday, September 25, 2016 | 12:45pm

All are welcome to gather for food and fellowship and celebrate the Cathedral’s 109th birthday at our annual congregation and Cathedral community fall potluck picnic in the east end apse area (near the Cathedral Library). This area is beautifully shaded and convenient from South Road.

This festive tradition features provided entrée with potluck salads, finger fare, and desserts. Tickets cover the entrée, some beverages, and paper products. Buy your tickets through the Box Office starting August 15 and at Sunday coffee hours on September 18.

Sign up to contribute appetizers, salads, beverages such as sparkling water and fruit juices, or desserts when you buy your tickets.

There will be grilled chicken and a vegan option for the entrées. If you wish to make an additional contribution, you will be given the option in the follow-up email and on the forms available on Sundays at coffee hour.

Back by popular demand! Activities for children sponsored by the Families with Young Children Ministry and special door prizes including Cathedral concert tickets and Cafe and Cathedral Store gift certificates. There will also be book prizes for our upcoming courses: Road to Character by  David Brooks; Ian Markham's Liturgical Life Principles: How Episcopal Worship Can Lead to Healthy and Authentic Living and The Irony of American History by Reinhold Niebuhr.
