Program: “Where Resurrections be…” A Summer Wonder Walk through the Bishop’s Garden
On an early Summer evening, join a guided walk to amble prayerfully, meditatively, intentionally through God’s natural world, giving attention to Creation’s holy rhythm of birth and growth, and nurturing the habit of wonder—an ancient spiritual practice that can help us cultivate awareness and gratitude in our daily life. Led by Laura Ingersoll.
Laura Ingersoll, a volunteer with the Center for Prayer and Pilgrimage, strives to maintain a practice of Benedictine spirituality. She is an attorney by profession, and holds a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary. A member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Parish, located on the Cathedral Close, she knows Mount St. Alban’s grounds well, and often finds God’s hand in the wonders of nature there. She has created and led two prior Wonder Walks in the Bishop’s Garden.
