Be Still and Know: An Advent Morning Retreat

Saturday, December 8, 2018 | 9:00am

The word Advent means “coming.” It is a time to slow down, be quiet and meditate about the real meaning of Christmas. A time to prepare our hearts, ourselves and our lives for the coming of Jesus. Treat yourself to some time away from the business of this season to a morning where you can “be with” and come to “know” God more deeply through prayer, scripture, meditation and reflection.

About the morning’s leader …
The Rev. Sally Slater is an Episcopal priest, a member of the Cathedral Community and serves as one of the Chaplains at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. An experienced educator and retreat leader, her ministries include pastoral care, leading worship, community outreach and teaching.

The retreat will be in Bethlehem Chapel. Please enter through the Way of Peace doors.
