Annelies

Monday, April 29, 2019 | 7:30pm

In commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the birth of Anne Frank (1929-1945), the Westminster Williamson Voices presents Annelies, conducted by celebrated composer James Whitbourn.

As one of the country's most-distinguished choral chamber ensembles, the Williamson Voices sang the U.S. premiere of the chamber version of Annelies in 2007, and were nominated for a 2014 Grammy Award for their recording of the same work.

Soprano soloist Arianna Zukerman has embraced this work and performed it numerous times, including in 2009 in Amsterdam (on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Anne Frank's birth) on the Grammy-nominated recording with the Williamson Voices, at the New York City premiere in 2014, and many others.
