The Story of the Anglican Church in Iraq

Join the Rev. Canon Faiz Jerjes, Canon of St. George’s Episcopal Church in Baghdad (the only Anglican church in Iraq), in Perry Auditorium immediately following the 11:15 service to learn more about his work in Iraq. Canon Faiz is the first Iraqi national to be ordained an Anglican priest in Iraq, where he is recognized as a leader in promoting interfaith dialogue and reconciliation. The organization Stand With Iraqi Christians (SWIC) (www.swic.org) is hosting Canon Faiz during his weeklong visit to the U.S.
