This pop-up event is presented by the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

Do you ever look up at the night sky and wonder what you’re seeing? We’re here to help! Come stargaze with us outside Washington National Cathedral. Join staff from the National Air and Space Museum on the North Lawn outside the visitor entrance for a view of the night sky. Experienced people will help you to observe a variety of astronomical objects. Telescopes will be provided by Smithsonian.

Note: The event is weather permitting and may be cancelled due to rain, clouds, and other poor visibility. For last-minute updates, call the National Air and Space Museum Astronomy Education number at 202-633-2517.
