650 years ago, a medieval mystic received a series of visions that led her to write the oft quoted affirmation, “All shall be well.” But what led Julian to her path as an anchoress, set apart from the world? And what was it about her that brought countless pilgrims to Julian’s cell to seek her wisdom and guidance?

Join us in celebrating the anniversary of Julian of Norwich’s “shewings” with an evening of contemplation in the crypt, including a re-imaging of Julian’s anchoress’ cell, created by visual artist Kiki McGrath in the Center for Prayer and Pilgrimage. Drop in at any time during the evening and choose your path—sojourner or saint—to explore spiritual practices that engage imagination to nurture faith and offer us hope in our fragmented world.

Advanced registration is required. Ticket sales close at 12 pm ET on November 3.
