Pastoral Care Listening Session

Recent administration policies and executive orders have caused stress, division, and uncertainty within our Cathedral Congregation. We invite Federal Workers, the LGBTQIA+ community, and the Immigration/Asylum community for a listening session that inevitably includes the sacred threads of race, diversity, equity, and inclusion that weave through our journey.

We will gather in Bethlehem Chapel and offer prayer, space for voicing and naming our fears and anxieties, and receive tools to help us persevere. Clergy will be present to offer pastoral care. The session will be facilitated by the Rev. Dr. Ron Hopson, congregation member and Howard University professor.
