Jewels in January! Experience the “jewels” of the Cathedral by joining one or all of our stained glass tours in one extraordinary month.

In this introduction to the stained glass windows, learn about the tales they tell, from God’s creation of the universe to stories from American history to the Last Judgment. While walking through the Cathedral, you will witness the stylistic evolution of Cathedral windows from 1911 to the 2000’s and learn about the creation process, which combines artistry and technical skill. In this tour, you will also discover how to “read” a window, decoding symbols that add meaning and depth to each lancet.

The Cathedral currently requires everyone over the age of 2 to wear a properly fitted mask at all times while on the grounds or inside the building. Visitors who refuse to wear masks will be asked to leave.
