Walk the north and south west tower stairwells to enjoy the smaller “jewels” of the Cathedral. View the different designs of the windows in the towers, while decoding traditional and biblical imagery, abstract themes and smaller windows with personal imagery. As you climb down, hear about the creative process which combines personal stories, the artistry of the designers and the technical skill of the fabricators.

Be prepared for significant stair climbing, close quarters, and heights. This tour is not ADA accessible. The tour travels to areas of the Cathedral not accessible via elevator and contains many steps. Must be 11 years old.

Jewels Extravaganza!
Experience the “jewels” of the Cathedral by joining one or all of our stained glass tours in one extraordinary day. Jewels of Light is one of the Cathedral’s most popular tours and is offered twice at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. Begin the day with a before hours’ tour to catch the morning light or enjoy the mid-afternoon light sparkle – both times offer the opportunity of seeing stained glass rainbows streaming across the Nave (weather and sun permitting). At 8:30 am and 12:30 pm, limited space is available for two different behind-the-scenes experiences that take you up close to different stained glass windows.
