Honest to God: Healing Our Economy

In 1968, Dr. King founded the Poor People’s Campaign to “focus the nation’s attention on economic inequality and poverty.” In honor of MLK weekend, Dean Randy Hollerith hosts social scientist and happiness expert Dr. Arthur Brooks and Dr. Barbara Williams-Skinner for a conversation on healing our economy. As “essential workers” provided food, transportation, and other necessities to the population during COVID-19, many of the richest in our country gained wealth. Join us online as Dean Hollerith and his guests explore the moral and ethical dimensions of the wealth gap and faithful responses from individuals and communities troubled by poverty.
