Join us in-person or online as Washington National Cathedral hosts a special morning Holy Eucharist in remembrance of the 20th anniversary of the attacks on September 11th. With representatives from throughout the community including area fire and police departments, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, the Metropolitan Washington Council of Government, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and area chaplains, we remember the lives lost, give thanks for those who served, and look towards a future with peace.

The morning eucharist will include a tolling of the Bourdon Bell, a wreath laying, pipe and drum, and special prayers.

The Cathedral would like to thank the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation for their partnership and the work they do to support the families of firefighters and first responders. You can learn more about the foundation at www.firehero.org.

Please note that masks are required if you choose to join us for in-person worship. Reservations are not required for in-person worship. Learn more about our reopening at cathedral.org/faq.

This service will be streamed here on our website and our YouTube page.
