Mozart’s Requiem

The Washington National Cathedral Choir & Orchestra perform Mozart’s choral masterpiece Requiem. Originally commissioned by an “unknown, gray stranger,” the score later became the centerpiece of the film Amadeus. This program is accompanied by The Deer’s Cry and Berliner Messe by Estonian composer Arvo Pärt.

Veterans Day Concert

Sat Nov. 9 • 4 pm Join us for a festive concert featuring “The President’s Own” United States Marine Chamber Orchestra and singers from several branches of the military performing a variety of patriotic and celebratory musical favorites. No tickets required. Livestream available.

Onward and Upward

Sat Feb. 1 • 4 pm Join us in celebrating Black History Month by honoring the contributions of black composers to classical music through musical and spoken word performances. Performers include The Denyce Graves Foundation and CAAPA – Coalition of African-American Performing Arts, under the direction of Michele Fowlin.
