Join Washington National Cathedral for a community night with music and food trucks for the last evening of our Juneteenth lighting with Reclaiming the Monument. Captain Cookie and the Milk Man, Two Smooth Dudes, Maracas Pops, Timber Pizza and more will be out on South Road! Bring your friends and family to enjoy a picnic on the beautiful Cathedral grounds.

At 7 pm, join us inside the Nave for “When Monuments Attack: America’s Struggle with Racialized Symbolism” before the front façade of the Cathedral is illuminated at sundown.

This community night is part of the Cathedral’s Juneteenth celebration and Light in the Darkness: The Racial Windows Project at Washington National Cathedral. To learn more about the project, visit cathedral.org/windows.
