Blessing of the Bikes

The Cathedral welcomes riders with Rolling to Remember on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Riders and the general public are invited to a “Blessing of the Bikes,” a brief prayer service on the West Front with Cathedral clergy, military chaplains and Rolling to Remember representatives.

Hosted by AMVETS, one of the country’s leading veteran-serving organizations, the purpose of the demonstration ride is to “raise awareness of the critical issues facing our nation’s veterans and demand action for the 82,000 service members missing, as well as raise awareness of the 22 veterans who die by suicide each day.”
