A Service Toward Repentance

The Episcopal Diocese of Washington hosts a liturgy of truth-telling, reckoning, and repentance for the harms done within the diocese, from the enslavement era through the present, to the Black community, so that we might move toward new relationships in Christ. The Right Rev. Marian Edgar Budde, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, will preach.

The service is open to the public. Join us in-person or watch the livestream on the Cathedral’s YouTube channel. ASL interpretation is offered for this service. A simple dinner will be served from 5:30-6:15 (registration required).
