Yo-Yo Ma to Lead Tributes for World Central Kitchen Aid Workers

Acclaimed cellist Yo-Yo Ma will anchor tributes at the Cathedral on Thursday to honor the World Central Kitchen aid workers who were killed in Gaza.

The interfaith memorial service, which will be livestreamed for the general public, will also feature:
- Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington
- The Very Rev. Randy Hollerith, Dean of Washington National Cathedral
- Cardinal Wilton Gregory, Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington
- Rabbi Susan Shankman, Senior Rabbi of Washington Hebrew Congregation
- Dr. Talib Shareef, Imam of Masjid Muhammad, The Nation’s Mosque
- Music from the Cathedral Choir
- A string quartet from the National Symphony Orchestra
In addition to music from Yo-Yo, World Central Kitchen founder Jose Andres will be the principal speaker, offering a tribute and eulogy to the seven members of his team who gave their lives in service of others.
