November is the time of the year when Christian tradition offers us opportunities to celebrate and commemorate the people in our lives who point us toward God.

This year, for All Saints (Nov. 1) and All Souls (Nov. 2), we’ve developed pathways within our Bloomberg Connects app to showcase the saints in our iconography, and the stories of the 200+ people who are buried here at the Cathedral.

The first online tour, “A Great Cloud of Witnesses,” introduces you to some of the 110 figures depicted on the High Altar. Some you’ve probably heard of (sisters Mary and Martha) and some may be a bit more obscure (Polycarp of Smyrna).

The second tour, “Tales from the Crypt,” invites you to meet the souls interred throughout the Cathedral, including Bishop Thomas Claggett, Admiral George Dewey, Helen Keller, Matthew Shepard and more.

To access the tours, download the Cathedral app from Bloomberg Connects by scanning this QR code, or by visiting this page.
