WASHINGTON – In celebration of Juneteenth, Washington National Cathedral will host a special Holy Eucharist service featuring a guest sermon by Rev. Sen. Raphael Warnock on Sunday, June 18, at 11:15 a.m. ET, along with music provided by the Cathedral’s Contemporary Worship Ensemble. This service will be part of a larger series of events the Cathedral will host to mark Juneteenth.

WASHINGTON – Washington National Cathedral announced today that its landmark pipe organ will be renovated after several Cathedral community members gave transformative gifts totaling $12.5 million. Connecticut-based Foley-Baker, which previously restored  many of America’s greatest organs, including at Duke University Chapel, The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, and Boston Symphony Hall, has signed a contract to revitalize the historic instrument.

WASHINGTON — After a sold out run in London’s West End, "Secret Byrd," a new concert-theatre production from Bill Barclay, makes its U.S. premiere at Washington National Cathedral on Saturday, March 4 at 1 p.m. Additional performances include March 4 at 4 p.m. and March 5 at 7 p.m.
