Washington National Cathedral Choir & Orchestra will offer an unforgettable evening of music with a performance of Mozart’s “Requiem” in the awe-inspiring setting of the Cathedral Nave on September 29, 2024.

The choral masterpiece, shrouded in mystery, was originally commissioned by an “unknown, gray stranger,” and the score later became the centerpiece of the film “Amadeus.” The program will also feature Arvo Pärt’s “The Deer’s Cry and Berliner Messe,” adding a contemporary spiritual dimension to the evening’s repertoire.

Tickets to the concert can be purchased here. Live stream tickets (available on a pay-what-you-can basis) are available here.
