Hilary Carter West is Executive Director of Federal Government Relations at JPMorganChase.  Prior to joining JPMorganChase, Hilary worked for the U.S. House of Representatives, where she served as Legislative Counsel to the House Financial Services Committee.

Hilary began her career in private practice as a corporate attorney, working for firms in Connecticut and in her native Washington, D.C.  After graduating from Sidwell Friends School, she received her B.A. from Connecticut College and J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law.

Hilary is co-chair of the Advisory Council at Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens.  She is the Vice Regent for the District of Columbia of the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association, the nation’s oldest national historic preservation organization that preserves and maintains the estate that was home to George Washington.

Hilary is a life-long member of St. John’s Church, Lafayette Square, where she currently serves as chair of the Lafayette Fellowship.  She has served on the Vestry, and as Junior and Senior Warden.
