When the official group tour season is not in effect, we offer groups of 20+ self-guided touring options with a single ticket for check-in, or a reservation in one of our daily Guided Spotlights Tours. This option is also for in-season groups who want to explore at their own pace or experience a longer guided tour.

Sightseeing Options

Sightseeing hours vary day-to-day to accommodate the wide range of activities and ministries offered at the Cathedral. Your ticket is valid for the hours posted that day; please review the Cathedral Calendar before submitting your request.

Explore some of the most beloved Cathedral features at your own pace. Tour the main level where you can see the world-famous Space Window, Canterbury Pulpit, West Rose Window and more! You may also explore lower level chapels and exhibits when available. Enhance your visit by using our free Digital Guide, which includes audio tours and specialized self-guided tours.

Upgrade your sightseeing experience! Your admission includes an hour-long tour with an expert guide and features the details behind must-see Cathedral favorites on the main and lower levels such as the Space Window, the Canterbury Pulpit, West Rose Window and more. Hear the stories of the craftspeople who built this gothic masterpiece, and more! After your tour, you are welcome to continue exploring at your own pace during that day’s posted sightseeing hours. Spotlights Tours are generally offered 4 times per day.
