More From the Cathedral College of Faith and Culture
This screening is part of the Cathedral College of Faith and Culture’s ongoing racial and social justice programming. Want to catch up on previous programs? Learn more about the new Now and Forever Windows, installed in September 2023. These windows capture the resilience, faith and endurance of African Americans and our nation’s struggle with the original sins of racism and slavery. Designed by Kerry James Marshall, the windows and accompanying poetry by Dr. Elizabeth Alexander grew out of a decision in 2017 to permanently remove windows that honored Confederate Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson.
