Join Dean Randy Hollerith for a brief thank-you to Imani-Grace Cooper as she steps back from her regular role with us on Sunday mornings.

Imani was a huge source of inspiration during the COVID pandemic, sharing her gifts with our online audience in weekly Sunday worship. With a powerful voice and an open heart, her willingness to share her musical talents was a gift during some really dark days.

She also brought a soulful focus to our special services, including Gospel Christmas, our 2021 Valentine’s Day special concert and countless other events. Her unique ability to blend jazz, blues, Gospel, soul and timeless classics gained her fans far and wide.

Imani will be stepping back from her regular duties on Sundays, but will remain on our roster of singers; we look forward to being able to welcome her back on special occasions. Until then, we join Dean Randy in saying THANK YOU to Imani, and we wish her all the very best.

O God, whom saints and angels delight to worship in heaven:  Be ever present with your servants who seek through art and music to perfect the praises offered by your people on earth; and grant to them even now glimpses of your beauty, and make them worthy at length to behold it unveiled for evermore; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
