Enjoy free Wi-Fi by accessing “PECF Guest” on your device. Use throughout the main level, in the Visitors’ Lounge, Bethlehem Chapel, Resurrection Chapel and the Cathedral Center for Prayer and Pilgrimage on the lower level/crypt.

We recommend downloading before you visit the Cathedral. If you download the guide while on the main level/nave, it will be accessible in areas without wi-fi, including most of the lower level/crypt. The guide offers explorations of both the Cathedral’s interior and exterior.

Personal attendants of visitors with disabilities are admitted free of charge (limited to one attendant per visitor; does not apply to large groups).

Guide dogs and other trained service animals are welcome at the Cathedral. Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed.

Worship
Readings for the Sunday Principal Holy Eucharist are provided in the leaflet in Spanish and English. Auto-translated captioning is available on services on our Youtube Channel. These automatic captions are generated by machine learning algorithms, so the quality of the captions may vary.

Visitors who are Blind or Partially Sighted

Visitors with Limited Mobility

Accessible parking is available in our garage and on South Road near the Cathedral Café. Spaces are limited, and cars parked in these spaces must display appropriate plates or hang tags.

Main Level/Nave Level
A ramp entrance is located at the northwest side of the building, to the north (left) of the main visitor entrance.

Lower Level/Crypt Level
An elevator to the lower level is located midway down the Cathedral on the south side. Access is from South Road. Note: This elevator is only a point of entry for services and events located on the lower level, and not during sightseeing hours.

Free wheelchairs are available on loan inside the nave (first-come, first-served). Check with the front of house staff for availability. Manual and electric wheelchairs are welcome in all areas of the Cathedral. Most of the main/nave level is accessible, as are parts of the lower/crypt level. Non-motorized mobility devices such as single-seat and knee scooters (manual and electric) are permitted as are walkers, crutches, canes, braces and other similar manual devices.

Main Level/Nave Level
Interior ramps and a lift provide access to War Memorial Chapel, St. Mary’s Chapel and the High Altar/Great Choir area. Children’s Chapel and Holy Spirit Chapel are not universally accessible at this time.

Lower Level/Crypt Level
The lower level is accessible via an elevator located in the south transept. The Visitors’ Lounge, part of Resurrection Chapel, the Center for Prayer and Pilgrimage and Bethlehem Chapel are accessible via interior ramps. St. Joseph’s Chapel and Good Shepherd Chapel are currently not accessible.

An elevator located in the south transept provided access between the main/nave and lower/crypt levels.Two elevators located at the west end of the building provide access to the Pilgrim Observation Gallery and west tower offices and conference facilities. A lift on the south side of the Pilgrim Observation Gallery provides access to Perry Auditorium.

End-of-row seating is available for most services, programs and concerts. Speak with an usher if you need assistance finding these areas.

Accessible all-gender restrooms are available near the ramp entrance, through the doors in Lincoln Bay (nave level), and in the south crypt aisle (lower level). The restrooms on level B2 of the parking garage are accessible. The restrooms at levels N3 and S3 of the west towers are accessible.

All public restrooms have baby changing stations.

There are accessible water fountains near the Welcome Desk and inside the ramp entrance.

Visitors Who Are Deaf or with Hearing Loss

Worship Services
Select worship services and events, including Christmas, Easter and the weekly Sunday Principal Holy Eucharist, are sign language interpreted.

Tours
You can request a Sign Language interpreter two weeks before your visit by emailing us at [email protected].

Sound amplification is available for worship services and other events held in the nave. Please ask an usher for the appropriate device.

All Cathedral-produced videos presented feature closed captioning. Captioning for all videos on our YouTube Channel is provided through YouTube.

Joining the Cathedral from Home

Live and archived webcasts of services, programs and special events are available on our YouTube Channel. Closed captioning is generated on these videos through YouTube.
