Elizabeth Alexander’s ‘American Song’ Poetry Tablets Installed

The Cathedral is thrilled to unveil stone tablets inscribed with Elizabeth Alexander's poem, "American Song," to accompany Kerry James Marshall's "Now and Forever" stained-glass windows. The limestone tablets arrived at the Cathedral earlier this year, and over the course of several weeks, our talented stone mason team prepped the space for the installation. read more and see photos
