Seeds of Faith: The Good We Grow Together
In these turbulent and acrimonious times, it can be hard to see how one small, solitary act can make a difference. But you’re not alone. There is goodness in the world, and you can be a part of it.
This Lent, we invite you to share the ways you’re growing goodness in the world. Perhaps it’s calling a sick relative, or helping a child in school, or bringing soup to an elderly neighbor. Maybe you’re paying for the customer behind you at Starbucks, or volunteering, or connecting families with new pets at a shelter.
Whatever you’re doing, you’re not alone. By sharing our stories, we want to show how goodness can multiply.
Here’s what we’re asking you to do: Commit to one act of kindness, generosity or justice each day, and then tell us about it.
We’ll be sharing examples of the ways the Cathedral community is growing good in the world. One small act, one tiny gesture, can be amplified when we do it together. Your small act of generosity and grace can inspire others.
Your act of goodness may seem small. But when we put them all together, you’ll see that compassion is contagious. And together, we can change the world for good.
