Selling Fast: Secret Byrd, March 4-5

Tickets are selling fast for the intimate performance of “Secret Byrd” on March 4-5. Presented in the intimate confines of Bethlehem Chapel, this candlelit concert featuring Bill Barclay and Cathedra will transport you to 16th Century England, where secret worshippers gather behind closed doors to worship God against the threat of persecution during the height of Catholic-Protestant struggle.

Available: Saturday, March 4 at 1 pm and 4 pm; Sunday, March 5 at 4 pm (SOLD OUT) and 7 pm. Get your tickets before they’re gone!

Romeo And Juliet: Berlioz & Shakespeare

The fiery passion and stunning tenderness of the Romeo & Juliet story come to life in Hector Berlioz’s most original work. The Atlanta Ballet joins CCS for a dramatic rendering of the choral symphony, with new choreography by Claudia Schreier.

Veterans Day Concert

Join Washington National Cathedral and “The President’s Own” United States Marine Chamber Orchestra for an evening of patriotic and celebratory music, presented in collaboration with Dog Tag Bakery, Team RWB, Hidden Heroes, and other organizations working to support veterans and their families in civilian life.

Our Work Unfinished: Hailstork & Obama

In Done Made My Vow, Adolphus Hailstork calls upon words from Barack Obama’s early speeches. Stanley J. Thurston leads the combined forces of the Cathedral Choral Society and the Heritage Signature Chorale in this and other works from African American composers.
